We will perform a major system upgrade of the OpenStack Object Storage platform (Ceph), including an upgrade of the RADOS Gateway (RGW) to a new major release.
Impact:
Slightly increased latency during the maintenance window due to rolling OSD upgrades.
Temporary connection resets for S3 and Swift clients during the RGW upgrade phase (towards the end of the maintenance window).
Expected Behavior:
Services remain available during the upgrade.
Short interruptions for the S3 Service may occur when RGW daemons are restarted.
Clients should retry failed requests where applicable.
Action Required:
No action is required. Please ensure your applications are configured to handle transient connection errors and retries.
